Ren Narita has a solid technical foundation, but as a member of HOUSE OF TORTURE he often disrupts the rhythm, distracts attention and leads his opponent into the wrong reaction. Double Cross remains his main finishing move. Uemura must stay disciplined, while Narita will try to make the match messy and slow it down.
OSKAR against Zack Sabre Jr. - height and mass against leverage
OSKAR is 201 centimeters tall and weighs 115 kilograms. His longer stride closes space, and an opponent must invest more energy to take him down. Zack Sabre Jr. will not try to be stronger, but will attack the ankle, knee, elbow and neck. Zack Driver gives him a more direct finish, while Clarky Cat opens up a network of submission holds.
If OSKAR remains upright, his size becomes his main advantage. If Sabre gets to a leg or the back early, the height can turn into a longer lever for attack. It is the clearest stylistic contrast of the evening.
Aaron Wolf against Drilla Moloney - a judo base against an explosive strike
Aaron Wolf came to NJPW with an Olympic gold medal in judo and quickly won the NEVER Openweight Championship. His advantages are the body grip, shifts in balance and throws without a long run-up.
Drilla Moloney is more aggressive in a straight line. Drilla Killa and Gore make him dangerous in short explosions. Wolf will try to turn the first contact into a throw, while Moloney is looking for space to build momentum and strike. The key is the distance at which the fight will be conducted.
