In mid-July, central Istria becomes a host to a variety of cultural, musical, and sports events.

The Central Istria Tourist Board organizes a rich program from July 15 to 21, 2024, offering free activities for all visitors.

The project "Discover central Istria – Explore central Istria" brings a wide range of cultural and entertainment events.
Visitors can enjoy quizzes, cinema screenings, theater performances, concerts, gastronomic fairs, and tasting tours.
The local government units within the Central Istria Tourist Board also prepare their own events, making July full of happenings.

Open-air cinema
As part of the summer in the network, the open-air cinema will be held in Tupljak on July 16 with the screening of the movie "Cats in the Museum".
In Boljun, the movie "Northern Comfort" will be shown on July 18, while Pazin will host the screening of the movie "Eight Mountains" on July 19.
All screenings start at 9:00 PM.

Musical experience
Central Istria music experience brings a concert by Leon Brenko in Boljun on July 18.
This talented pianist and keyboardist will present jazz rhythms in the Boljun Castle.

Cultural summer in Sveti Lovreč
The cultural summer in Sveti Lovreč begins on July 16 with a concert by Young Hopes Eva Palman and Mihael Uljanić in the Placa Gallery at 8:30 PM.
Lovreč delights continue on July 18, where visitors can taste local products such as olive oil, wine, brandy, cheese, and cured meats.

Pub quiz in Tinjan
Quiz lovers can participate in the Pub Quiz: Istria, prosciutto, and legends, which will be held on July 17 in Tinjan under the plane trees.

Summer in the park in Pazin
The Park of Istrian Giants in Pazin will host the event Two Decades of Jazz on July 18 and 19.
The program includes drawing with Urban Sketchers Pazin, a jazz concert by the Zvonimir Radišić Trio, a DJ set by Nene, a Pictionary tournament, and a screening of the movie "Eight Mountains".

Futsal tournament in Selina
Selina will host a futsal tournament from July 17 to 20, and on July 20, a concert by Night Express Band will round off the event.

Event at Zarečki krov
At Zarečki krov near Pazin, an event will be held on July 20 that includes ecological and volunteer activities and recreational activities.
The program includes a water polo tournament, a diving competition, a stone skipping contest, and children's workshops on ecology and sustainability.
Before the event, a volunteer site cleanup will be held on July 16.

Music festival in Boljun
The Boljun music festival "Play and Sing in the Old Tradition" will be held on July 20 as part of the folk festival Marinjina, with performances by Groovers and Lucky Band.

Folklore festival in Sveti Petar u Šumi
The central and northern Istria folklore festival will be held on July 21 in Sveti Petar u Šumi, offering visitors the chance to enjoy traditional dances and songs.
