Strategic position and unique experience
Positioned in the very epicenter of Zadar's coast, Hyatt Regency Zadar is located just a few minutes' easy walk from the historic city center, which is under UNESCO protection. Such a location offers guests an extraordinary opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of Zadar while simultaneously enjoying a blend of ancient history and contemporary luxury. The hotel's concept is designed to encourage creativity, strengthen the sense of community, and provide inspiration to travelers with an adventurous spirit. The hotel is housed in the renovated building of the former Maraska factory, further emphasizing the fusion of industrial heritage and modern design. Doğuş Group's investment in this project reached an impressive 55 million euros, and its realization took five years, partly slowed down by the global pandemic.
The hotel offers a spectacular view of the Adriatic Sea, presenting a harmonious blend of historical architecture, which pays homage to the location's rich past, and refined contemporary design. An authentic Mediterranean atmosphere permeates every corner of the hotel, providing guests with a sense of relaxation and welcome. The immediate vicinity of Zadar Airport, as well as easy access to national parks such as Kornati, Paklenica, and Krka, and world-famous landmarks like St. Donatus' Church and the Roman Forum, make Hyatt Regency Zadar an ideal starting point for both business travelers and tourists eager to discover the beauties of Dalmatia. Many point out that Zadar as a destination offers a unique experience, and this hotel further enriches it.
Contribution to tourism development
Burak Baykan, Regional Director of Doğuş Croatia, the owner of this impressive edifice, expressed his satisfaction with the opening of the first Hyatt hotel in Croatia. At Doğuş Group, we proudly emphasize our continuous contribution to the development of Croatian tourism, which has lasted for more than fifteen years, during which we have invested in marinas and hotels in Zadar, Šibenik, and Dubrovnik," emphasized Baykan. He added that Doğuş Group plans further investments in the development of the residential area around the hotel itself, which would bring the total investment to 120 million euros, further strengthening the urban quality of the Zadar destination.

This opening sends a message to the world that Zadar possesses all the attributes of a top destination: rich history, exceptional natural beauty, authenticity, and now, globally recognized luxury.
