Balinjerada 2025: Opatija's race of creativity, speed and carnival cheer

Opatija once again became the center of carnival euphoria, as the long-traditional Balinjerada was held on its streets. This unique event, a blend of adrenaline, creativity and carnival spirit, attracted thousands of visitors who enthusiastically followed the unusual races of improvised vehicles on ball-bearing platforms. At the start, the assembled group was entertained by well-known performers, while at the finish the atmosphere was fired up thanks to a top-notch entertainment program. One of the special additions to Balinjerada was the traditional "Kukalka", a parody of the Sinjska alka, performed in the shallows of the Opatija beach.
