Eight out of nine mice showed significant tumor reduction, with two mice having a complete response to therapy, meaning their tumors disappeared entirely. Although the tumors returned after discontinuation of therapy, these results provide a strong basis for further development and optimization of treatment.

While preclinical results appear promising, further research is needed to safely and effectively apply these therapies to humans. Clinical trials are planned to test the safety and efficacy of this therapy in patients with pancreatic cancer as well as other aggressive forms of cancer such as colorectal, lung, and liver cancers.

This could signify a revolution in how cancer is treated, allowing for more precise and effective therapies with fewer side effects.
