Stagecoach Country Music Festival tickets for a 3-day Indio festival with Cody Johnson and Lainey Wilson

Looking for tickets for Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio? Plan a 3-day festival trip to Empire Polo Club with Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson and Post Malone, plus multiple stages, camping, shuttle access and festival zones that shape the day from early afternoon to midnight

A festival that does not reduce country to just one stage

Stagecoach Country Music Festival 2026 takes place from April 24 to 26 at Empire Polo Club in Indio, and this festival ticket covers all three days of the program. This is important to emphasize right away because Stagecoach is not conceived as one big evening concert, but as a multi-day stay in a large open-air festival town, with music, saloon zones, food & drink points, camping, and a range of additional amenities that change the rhythm of the day from early afternoon to midnight.

For visitors attending for the first time, the most important difference compared with classic summer festivals is this: Stagecoach is firmly rooted in country, but it does not close itself within one narrow sound. In the same weekend, it brings together current country headliners, veterans of the American scene, artists with pop and rock backgrounds, late-night DJ programs, and separate attractions that are as much a part of the festival's identity as the main performances. That is why the experience here is not built around just one stage, but around moving through several zones and different types of crowds during the day.

The open space of Empire Polo Club is perfectly suited to that. It is a large complex of polo fields and gardens in the desert valley of Coachella Valley, at 81-800 Avenue 51, Indio, California. The venue itself is known for its enormous grassy fields, wide access routes, and capacity for events with more than 90,000 people, so Stagecoach can simultaneously offer a massive main program and a series of smaller corners where people rest, eat, dance, or wait for the evening performances.Tickets for this event are in demand.

Who's performing and how the festival weekend is structured

For 2026, Stagecoach has confirmed three daily headliners on the Mane Stage: Cody Johnson on Friday, Lainey Wilson on Saturday, and Post Malone on Sunday. This already makes it clear what the arc of the weekend looks like - from contemporary mainstream country, through an artist carrying one of the strongest current waves of the genre, to a star who has become a crossover name in the American festival space for both country audiences and the broader pop audience.

One of the more important novelties this year is the return of the Mustang Stage. With that, Stagecoach has once again gained a third dedicated music stage alongside the Mane Stage and the Palomino Stage. For the visitor, that means two things: more schedule overlaps, but also a wider range of programming. The Mustang Stage is particularly interesting because it gathers artists who do not necessarily belong to the pure country canon, but evoke nostalgia for the 1980s and 1990s, as well as late-night sets that change the tempo of the festival after the main performances.

Friday

Friday is headlined by Cody Johnson, and among the confirmed names that day, Bailey Zimmerman, Ella Langley, Lyle Lovett, Wynonna Judd, and Sam Barber stand out. On the Mustang Stage, Counting Crows appear during the day, while the later slot is reserved for Diplo and guests. This is a good indication of the Stagecoach formula: on the same day, you can choose between a more classic country line, artists with longer American careers, and a more dance-oriented night program.

Saturday

Saturday's peak of the program belongs to Lainey Wilson, and officially highlighted that same day are Riley Green, Little Big Town, Teddy Swims, and Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters. On Saturday, the Mustang Stage expands the genre breadth with names such as Journey and Bush, while the night closes with Pitbull. This sets Stagecoach apart from festivals that remain strictly closed within one theme: here, the country core is not abandoned, but it is deliberately expanded toward an audience that wants more than one type of evening.

Sunday

Sunday's headliner is Post Malone, and for the closing day, Brooks & Dunn, Warren Zeiders, and Wyatt Flores are highlighted alongside him. The Mustang Stage then brings together Hootie & The Blowfish, Third Eye Blind, and The Wallflowers, while the late-night finale is entrusted to Ludacris. Sunday therefore feels like the day on which generations of the audience most clearly collide - from more traditional country listeners to people who experience the festival as a weekend of major American live names. It is worth securing tickets in time.

Diplo's HonkyTonk, smokehouse, and everything in between the stages

For years, Stagecoach has not been remembered only for its main stage, but also for the area called Diplo's HonkyTonk. It returns in 2026 as well, with a combination of line dance content in an air-conditioned space and a DJ program that in the evening shifts toward the more dance-driven, party side of the festival. That very part often attracts the crowd that seeks shade in the middle of the day, and in the evening wants to stay on site after the main sets, without the feeling that the festival is over as soon as the lights go out on the Mane Stage.

For 2026, Stagecoach has also announced special guests within the Guy Fieri's Stagecoach Smokehouse program, which further confirms how much food here is part of the program, and not just logistics. On Friday, Nate Smith, Chase Rice, and BigXThaPlug are announced for the demo, on Saturday Gavin Rossdale of Bush, Gavin Adcock, Billy Bob Thornton, and Wynonna Judd, and on Sunday Wyatt Flores and Brett Young. Alongside them come pitmaster demonstrations, so the Smokehouse functions as a place where music, television recognizability, and barbecue culture merge into one of the festival's signature features.Food and drinks are not pushed to the margins of the grounds. For 2026, the organizer lists slow-smoked barbecue, Nashville hot chicken, burgers, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, and various bar zones, while the Beer Barn on the Terrace especially highlights shade, phone charging, and food with beer. This is an important little detail for planning the day: at Stagecoach, it does not pay to think only about the timetable of your favorite artist, but also about where you will take a break, charge your phone, and survive the hottest part of the afternoon.

The festival has also confirmed a series of accompanying points that clearly draw the audience it is addressing: Ferris Wheel, Half-Pint Hootenanny for children, Trading Post with retail points, Toyota Music Den, various lounges and branded zones, and saloon spaces that serve as shelter and a place to rest. The first time you are there, you will quickly realize that Stagecoach is not an event where you simply run from performance to performance. It is designed as a space in which some people plan music, food, socializing, and taking photos around the site with equal seriousness.

What the zones look like and what the differences are among ticket types

If you look only at the basic logic of entry, General Admission covers standard three-day access. That is the choice for visitors to whom it is most important simply to be at the festival, move among the zones, and find the best position on their own throughout the day. For groups, there is also a GA 6-Pack option, but the important thing is that it is still the same festival logic, only for a more organized arrival of a group.Above that, Stagecoach builds several levels of experience. The Rhinestone Saloon Pass opens access to an area by the Mane Stage with shade, special hospitality points, bleachers for additional seating, closer restrooms, and a separate merch point, and it also includes access to the Rose Garden Saloon by the Palomino Stage. Corral Standing Pit goes even closer to the stage because it opens the standing pit in front of the Mane Stage, while Corral Reserved Seating means a reserved seat directly behind the pit zone. Both Corral options also include additional access to the Corral Saloon as well as entry into the other saloon spaces.

For a visitor going to Stagecoach for the first time, the simplest rule is this: the higher the ticket category, the less time you spend on logistics, rest, and moving around, and the more you gain in terms of shade, shorter distances to amenities, and better access to the main stage. If your goal is an all-day stay with a lot of walking, GA makes sense. If you want more shelter and a more comfortable rhythm between performances, the saloon and corral zones will be more practical.

Ticket sales for this event are underway.

Camping, wristbands, entrances, and getting to the location

Stagecoach seriously counts on the audience staying for multiple days, so camping is an integral part of the experience. Car Camping means a 10 x 30 foot plot next to your own vehicle, with festival admission not included in that item. There are also additional options such as Companion Camping Parking for a second vehicle, Lake Eldorado, and glamping variants such as Safari Camping and La Campana. Those who choose camping get a rhythm in which the festival does not end by leaving the site, but spills over into morning preparations, returning to the camp, and then going back again to the concert part of the day.

An important practical detail is the re-entry rule. The organizer states that re-entry is not permitted without a Resort wristband. This means that visitors who are not in the camp or resort section should assume that once they enter, they need to plan the day without returning to the car or accommodation. Camp guests, on the other hand, must scan their exit when leaving so they can later return to the venue.

The wristband needs to be registered in advance in the Stagecoach mobile app, before you put it on your wrist. The app also serves for viewing the line-up, the interactive map, set times, and a personalized schedule. In practice, that means that the mobile phone here is much more than a camera - without the app and a registered wristband, entry and finding your way around the enormous grounds will be unnecessarily slower.

Most important for arrival and entry

  • The festival address is Empire Polo Club, 81-800 Avenue 51, Indio, CA 92201.

  • Free daily parking operates from 12:00 to 2:00, and the venue opens at 13:00.

  • The festival ends no later than midnight, and vehicles left after 2:00 may be towed.

  • Everyone in the vehicle must have a festival wristband when entering the parking area.

  • Shuttle lines run from 13:00 to 20:00, and the return shuttle ends 60 minutes after the end of the music program.

  • The rideshare zone operates at the intersection of Ave. 49 and Monroe St., from 12:00 to 3:00.

  • The organizer expects the biggest crowds between 16:00 and 19:00 on Friday and Saturday.

The shuttle is more practical than it sounds on paper. The organizer openly recommends it as the best transport to the festival because it has special routes and the shortest walking connection to the entrance. Those arriving by car, meanwhile, should know that there is no overnight or RV parking in the daily parking zones, that tailgating is not allowed, and that the parking lots are strictly organized around the festival rhythm. For the camping area, additional rules apply regarding vehicle movement and timed exit restrictions.

What to bring, what not to bring in, and what kind of crowd to expect

Stagecoach allows some things that are important to audiences at open-air festivals: empty plastic bottles up to 64 oz, empty plastic hydration packs up to 2 liters, low back lawn chairs, small blankets, non-professional cameras, sunscreen lotions, glasses, hats, and personal water misters. But it is equally important what does not pass at the entrance: aerosol products, glass and metal bottles, outside food and drinks, drones, selfie sticks, professional cameras with interchangeable lenses, large flags, coolers, tablets and laptops, and weapons of any kind.Bags are also strictly defined. A backpack must fit within dimensions of 18 x 13 x 8.5 inches, and a smaller bag within 12 x 6 x 12 inches. This is physically checked at the entrance, so it does not pay to arrive with a bag "just in case" and hope it will pass. For medication, the rule is that it must be in clearly marked original packaging matching the visitor's identification, while naloxone is permitted for personal use.

The Stagecoach audience is not single-layered. You will see visitors in cowboy boots who are coming for Cody Johnson or Lainey Wilson, but also people who are there for Post Malone, Pitbull, Diplo, or Journey. You will see families using the children's zones, groups spending three days in the camp, visitors who build their whole weekend around saloon access, and those who align themselves with the food program as carefully as with the evening performances. That is precisely why Stagecoach works both for harder-core country fans and for audiences who want an American festival mix with a clear western visual code.

For a traveler arriving from outside the valley itself, it is also useful to know that Indio is part of the broader Greater Palm Springs region in Coachella Valley. Empire Polo Club is located approximately a two-hour drive from Los Angeles and San Diego, which makes the festival close enough for a road trip, but also remote enough that a weekend there truly feels like a temporary escape into a desert festival mode. Those coming for the first time will benefit most if they do not treat Stagecoach as "one concert per day", but as a multi-day stay planned by zones, breaks, transport, and shifts in energy throughout the day.Places disappear quickly.

Culture & events desk

The editorial team for arts, music and events brings together journalists and volunteers who have spent years living alongside stages, clubs, festivals and all those spaces where art and audience meet. Our writing comes from long-standing journalistic experience and genuine involvement in cultural life: from endless evenings in concert halls, from conversations with musicians before and after performances, from improvised press corners at festivals, from premieres that end with long discussions in theatre corridors, but also from small, intimate events that attract only a handful of curious people yet remain engraved in their memory for a lifetime.

In our newsroom write people who know what a stage looks like when the lights go out, how the audience breathes while waiting for the first note, and what happens behind the curtain while instruments or microphones are still being adjusted. Many of us have spent years standing on stage ourselves, participating in programme organisation, volunteering at festivals or helping artist friends present their projects. This experience from both sides of the stage gives us the ability to view events not merely as items in a calendar, but as living encounters between creators and audiences.

Our stories do not stop at who performed and how many people attended. We are interested in the processes that precede every appearance before the public: how the idea for a concert or festival is born, what it takes for a comedy to reach its audience, how much time is spent preparing an exhibition or a multimedia project. In our texts we try to convey the atmosphere of the space, the energy of the performers and the mood of the audience, as well as the context in which all this happens – why a certain performance is important, how it fits into the broader music or art scene, and what remains after the venue empties.

The editorial team for arts, music and events builds its credibility on persistence and long-term work. Behind us are decades of writing, editing, talking with artists and observing how scenes change, how some styles come to the forefront while others retreat into the background. This experience helps us distinguish fleeting hype from events that truly push boundaries and leave a mark. When we give something space, we strive to explain why we believe it deserves attention, and when we are critical, we explain our reasons, aware of the effort behind every project.

Our task is simple and demanding at the same time: to be reliable witnesses of cultural and entertainment life, to write honestly toward the audience and honestly toward performers. We do not deal in generic praise; we aim to precisely describe what we see and hear, knowing that every text may be someone’s first encounter with a certain band, festival, comedian or artist. The editorial team for arts, music and events therefore exists as a place where all these encounters are recorded, interpreted and passed on – humanly, clearly and with respect for the very reason it exists at all: the live, real event in front of a real audience.
