Exactly one year ago, the first AC Hotel by Marriott in Croatia opened within the Dalmatia Tower in Split.

This event was marked by a gala reception for the hotel staff and guests. The hotel director, Damir Lukić, addressed those present.

“Today we celebrate the first anniversary of our hotel, the first AC Marriott in Croatia, located in the tallest skyscraper in the country. Our hotel is not only part of the world's most prestigious hotel chain, Marriott International, but also a symbol of innovation and change. We adhere to the highest standards in customer experience, sustainable tourism, business culture, and socially responsible business practices. These are not just corporate obligations but sincere desires to enhance the destination,” said Damir Lukić.

During the reception, a video with an after movie from the grand opening of the Dalmatia Tower, held on the feast of St. Dujam, was shown. This event brought together many guests from different fields, including entrepreneurs, institutional representatives, politicians, athletes, and artists.

“AC Hotel by Marriott Split has been operating since July 17, 2023, but the official opening ceremony of the skyscraper and the hotel for the public, partners, and friends was held in May this year. This was a party that is still talked about and will remain memorable in modern Croatian history. For our first anniversary, we have prepared a video that we want to share with the public,” added Lukić.

Dalmatia Tower was designed by renowned Croatian architect Otto Barić, and the project won two important international awards - the European Property Awards for the best architectural solution for high-rise commercial buildings and the International Property Award for the best project in the development category.

The hotel has 214 rooms and suites, and each room offers a view of the sea and the panorama of Split and the Dalmatian islands. A special feature of the hotel is the indoor SPA with a pool at more than 100 meters above sea level, as well as conference rooms that can accommodate up to 300 people.
