This recognition was awarded during the Days of Croatian Tourism in Opatija, an event that brings together key stakeholders of Croatia's tourism industry. Celebration of the prestigious award


In celebration of this extraordinary achievement, the Tourist Board of the city of Poreč and the City of Poreč-Parenzo invite all citizens, partners, collaborators, and friends of the city to join the celebration of the award "Destination of the Year – Champion of Croatian Tourism". The celebration will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 11:00 to 14:00 at Freedom Square. This is an opportunity to mark together this remarkable accomplishment, which is the result of the dedication of everyone involved in the city's tourism story.


Celebration Program


The musical part of the program will be provided by the Alfa Time Band, who will ensure a fantastic atmosphere, while visitors will be offered free snacks. Students from the Anton Štifanić Secondary Hospitality School in Poreč will take care of the sweet part of the celebration with their desserts.
