At the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Croatia with the county prefects, Minister of Tourism Tonči Glavina handed over the contract for the project "Mini ZIP LINE cable car (CHILDREN'S ZIP LINE)" worth 61,876.01 euros to the Lika-Senj County Prefect Ernest Petry. The project will be implemented in the municipality of Vrhovine.

Minister of Tourism and Sports, Tonči Glavina, has made a decision on the allocation of financial resources for co-financing sports programs to encourage local sports and sports competitions, and training of non-swimmers "Hrvatska Pliva" in 2024. A total of EUR 3.42 million will be allocated for 192 sports programmes and EUR 484,486 for 32 training programmes for non-swimmers.
Croatian tourism recorded a growth of 6 percent in arrivals and 2 percent in overnight stays in the first six months of this year. The Adriatic and continental Croatia achieved a significant increase, while Zagreb recorded 8 percent more overnight stays.

Croatia was among the first countries to sign the Convention for the Protection of the Danube River in 1994, along with Austria, Bulgaria, Germany and other countries. This year we celebrate 30 years of the convention and 20 years of Danube Day.
