The attractive program of this year's CIAV, the international air show, will be held at the Varaždin airport during this weekend. The aerobatic team Wings of Storm and Rafale fighter jets will perform flyovers above Varaždin today, July 12, 2024, in the afternoon.

The largest aviation event in this part of Europe, CIAV 2024, is organized under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, and the Ministry of Tourism.

At the air show in Varaždin, the Croatian Air Force will present an attractive flight program on Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14, 2024. The multi-purpose Rafale fighter jets will participate, and the aerobatic team Wings of Storm will perform in full formation.

The program at the Varaždin airport will start on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 10 AM. Visitors will be able to see the tactical-technical display of weapons and equipment of the Croatian Army. The central part of the event will be at 1 PM, when parachutists will land at the airport carrying the flags of the participating countries of this year's CIAV.

The flight program of the Croatian Air Force aircraft will be held both days in the afternoon.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the Black Hawk and Kiowa Warrior helicopters of the Croatian Air Force and view a large tactical-technical display of weapons and equipment of the Croatian Army.

At the Ministry of Defense's Info Desk, interested visitors will be able to learn more about a career in the Croatian Army. Young people will have the opportunity to experience flying in the Croatian Air Force aircraft and helicopters through VR (virtual reality) glasses.

Additionally, visitors will be able to see the Bell-206 and 2012 helicopters of the Ministry of the Interior, aircraft from foreign countries, as well as the flight program of the Red Bull aerobatic team from Salzburg.
