Every year, from September to October, the island’s tourist board organizes free guided tours under the name "Cres Hike," which offer tourists the chance to explore this amazing island through hiking and walking. The "Cres Hike" program starts in mid-September and runs until mid-October, with organizers including local guides and members of the Osoršćica Mountaineering Society ensuring an unforgettable experience for all participants. These tours are an ideal way to explore the natural beauty of the island as well as to better understand its rich flora and fauna, including rare species such as the Griffon Vulture, which nests on the steep cliffs of the northern part of the island, near the village of Beli. Alongside it, there is also a trail leading from Cres to Saint Bartholomew, with a length of 7 kilometers, providing participants with the opportunity to discover less-known parts of the island.
