Unforgettable theatrical evening
In the courtyard of Villa Bedeković, the play "Marathonci trče počasni krug" was performed in front of a full house, and the audience followed this famous theatrical production with enthusiasm. On the same stage, the legendary Đuro Đurić with his performance "Đurologija" once again caused bursts of laughter. This year, special attention was drawn to the play "Tere i Luce," in which Anja Šovagović Despot and Nataša Janjić Medančić presented a modern version of friendship from the perspective of the Croatian theater scene.

On the streets of Varaždin, more than twenty street performers from various countries showcased their skills, creating a special stage experience. Among them, Kraken Orchestra with their unique "fossil ship," Big Bike Orchestra, and Stelzen-Art from Germany with their incredible stilts and glowing costumes stood out.

Creativity and innovation at every turn
Uska Street, often referred to as the most creative corner of Špancirfest, hosted over thirty exhibitors this year. Particularly interesting were exhibitors like WallWare, who presented vintage images mounted on hand-blown glass, and Art+ journal with luxury notebooks. The creativity park was a paradise for young visitors, with numerous workshops and performances, while older guests enjoyed Vindiland, where they could participate in sports activities and socializing with famous athletes.

Špancirfest is not just a cultural event but also a gastronomic paradise. In the Wine Town and Carlsberg Food & Party zone, visitors had the opportunity to enjoy a variety of dishes and drinks, while the Špancir Burger Festival satisfied lovers of barbecue specialties.

Final chords and festival energy
Visitors eagerly awaited the ROCK opera, which combined a symphony orchestra, big band, and choir in a performance of the greatest global rock hits. Over fifty performers created an unforgettable musical spectacle, while the audience enjoyed the synergy of music, light, and sound.

Špancirfest 2024 continues to be a hub of creativity, innovation, and entertainment, gathering numerous artists, musicians, and performers from around the world. This unique event, marking the end of summer in Varaždin, continues to attract thousands of visitors, offering them unforgettable moments in the heart of the city.
