The latest generation of Huawei's smartwatches, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series, which recently had its world premiere at a spectacular event in Paris, has now officially arrived on the Croatian market. Lovers of top-tier technology and elegant design have been given the opportunity to be among the first to secure their unit through a special pre-order period. To further reward the first buyers, Huawei has prepared an attractive benefit: all who decide to purchase one of the eight new models from this impressive series are entitled to a voucher worth 30 euros, redeemable when purchasing any watch from the new WATCH GT 6 family. This offer is valid until October 31 at all authorized retail partners.

Guided by the inspiring motto "Ride the Wind," the new HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series of smartwatches is designed to give users a sense of freedom, ease, and limitless possibilities in their daily lives. These devices are not just technological accessories, but also partners to all who strive for a more active, healthier, and more fulfilling lifestyle. True to the legacy of its celebrated GT series, Huawei has once again succeeded in combining a premium, sophisticated design with advanced functionality, all with the key advantage that sets it apart from the competition – an extraordinary battery life that reaches up to 21 days. In addition, the new generation brings significantly improved GPS technology for superior precision, which will be especially appreciated by outdoor enthusiasts. A major advantage is also full compatibility with Android and iOS devices, ensuring a seamless user experience regardless of the smartphone you use.

Revolutionary autonomy and flawless precision

One of the strongest assets of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series lies in its battery technology, which sets new standards in the industry. Engineers have managed to integrate a battery with as much as 65% more capacity compared to the previous generation, resulting in an autonomy that allows users to forget about daily charging. Specifically, the WATCH GT 6 Pro and WATCH GT 6 (46 mm) models provide an incredible up to 21 days of battery life with occasional use, or about 10 to 12 days with more intensive use. On the other hand, the more elegant and compact WATCH GT 6 (41 mm) model offers an impressive up to 14 days of standard use. This feature makes the watch an extremely reliable companion, whether you wear it daily to work, during intense workouts, or on longer trips where access to a charger is not always easy.

In parallel with the battery development, Huawei has also implemented the new generation of the Sunflower GPS system. This is an advanced positioning technology that uses a dual-frequency system with five satellite constellations (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS), ensuring faster and, most importantly, significantly more accurate location tracking. This precision is crucial for sports such as trail running, mountain biking, or hiking, where every meter and change in altitude makes a difference. The system allows for detailed and reliable analysis of the route, pace, distance covered, and elevation gain, while also providing greater security for users when moving in remote and unfamiliar areas with a potentially weaker signal.

Premium materials and a breathtaking design

Aesthetics and build quality have always been a focus for Huawei, and the WATCH GT 6 series raises the bar even higher. The WATCH GT 6 Pro model stands out with its robust yet elegant design, featuring a raised bezel around the dial that not only adds to its visual appeal but also provides additional protection for the screen against impacts. The screen is 5.5% larger compared to its predecessor, allowing for a clearer and more enjoyable user experience. One of the most impressive features of the display is its peak brightness, which reaches up to 3000 nits, guaranteeing perfect visibility of content even under direct and strong sunlight.

All models in the series are made from premium-grade materials that ensure exceptional wear resistance and durability, as well as a sophisticated look suitable for any occasion. The display is protected by aerospace-grade sapphire glass, known for its exceptional scratch resistance. The case is made of lightweight and durable titanium, while the back is coated with nano-ceramic, a skin-friendly material that does not cause irritation. The watches are available with three different types of straps – an elegant brown leather, a modern silver metal, and a sporty black fluoroelastomer, allowing users to adapt the watch's style to business, casual, or sports occasions.

The WATCH GT 6 (46 mm) model draws inspiration from the world of cycling and comes in an attractive green color with a dynamic tri-color gradient on the bezel. On the other hand, the smaller WATCH GT 6 (41 mm) model features innovative clasps on the strap that ensure a better fit on the wrist and exceptional comfort during all-day wear.

Four advanced workout modes for pushing the limits

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series brings significant innovations in the field of sports activity tracking. For the first time in the world of smartwatches, a virtual power meter for cyclists has been introduced. This revolutionary function, developed using sophisticated algorithms and wind tunnel testing, provides cyclists with a precise measurement of their riding intensity expressed in watts (W). Cycling power, a key performance indicator, can now be tracked in real-time directly on the wrist, with an accuracy that is almost on par with professional, much more expensive power meters. In addition to this function, the watch also offers additional professional options for trail running, skiing, and golf. Each of these modes provides advanced insights and detailed analyses specific to each sport, helping athletes to better understand their performance and plan their training more effectively.

Comprehensive health tracking with the new TruSense system

At the heart of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series is the all-new TruSense™ system, designed for comprehensive and proactive user health care. Through a multi-dimensional analysis of biometric data, the watch provides detailed insights into cardiovascular health and constantly monitors key parameters throughout the day and night. One of the most important new features is the introduction of HRV (heart rate variability) tracking, a metric that is particularly sought after by athletes and individuals exposed to stress. HRV measures the variations in the time intervals between consecutive heartbeats and is a key indicator of recovery status, stress levels, and the body's overall readiness for exertion. The WATCH GT 6 smartwatch also continuously analyzes emotional state, physical activity level, heart health (including SpO2 and arrhythmia monitoring), and sleep quality, using advanced algorithms to provide users with personalized advice and recommendations. In this way, the watch actively encourages the formation of healthier lifestyle habits, starting with small but significant daily changes.

Prices, availability, and Huawei's ecosystem

Interested users in Croatia can already pre-order their unit from the new series. The recommended retail prices are as follows: the Watch GT 6 41 mm in white and purple is available for 259 euros, while the model with the milanese bracelet costs 329 euros. The larger model, the Watch GT 6 46 mm, is priced at 259 euros, and the special green version is 279 euros. The premium Watch GT 6 Pro 46 mm models in black and "sand gold" can be pre-ordered for 379 euros, while the most prestigious version with a titanium case and strap costs 499 euros. As a reminder, the promotional offer with the 30-euro voucher is valid until October 31.

In addition to this watch series, Huawei recently launched the versatile HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 tablet on the local market, and the arrival of other new devices is expected soon, such as the advanced FreeBuds 7i headphones and the successor to the premium watch, the Watch Ultimate 2, with which the company continues to strengthen its rich ecosystem of smart devices.

Science & tech desk

Our Science and Technology Editorial Desk was born from a long-standing passion for exploring, interpreting, and bringing complex topics closer to everyday readers. It is written by employees and volunteers who have followed the development of science and technological innovation for decades, from laboratory discoveries to solutions that change daily life. Although we write in the plural, every article is authored by a real person with extensive editorial and journalistic experience, and deep respect for facts and verifiable information.

Our editorial team bases its work on the belief that science is strongest when it is accessible to everyone. That is why we strive for clarity, precision, and readability, without oversimplifying in a way that would compromise the quality of the content. We often spend hours studying research papers, technical documents, and expert sources in order to present each topic in a way that will interest rather than burden the reader. In every article, we aim to connect scientific insights with real life, showing how ideas from research centres, universities, and technology labs shape the world around us.

Our long experience in journalism allows us to recognize what is truly important for the reader, whether it is progress in artificial intelligence, medical breakthroughs, energy solutions, space missions, or devices that enter our everyday lives before we even imagine their possibilities. Our view of technology is not purely technical; we are also interested in the human stories behind major advances – researchers who spend years completing projects, engineers who turn ideas into functional systems, and visionaries who push the boundaries of what is possible.

A strong sense of responsibility guides our work as well. We want readers to trust the information we provide, so we verify sources, compare data, and avoid rushing to publish when something is not fully clear. Trust is built more slowly than news is written, but we believe that only such journalism has lasting value.

To us, technology is more than devices, and science is more than theory. These are fields that drive progress, shape society, and create new opportunities for everyone who wants to understand how the world works today and where it is heading tomorrow. That is why we approach every topic with seriousness but also with curiosity, because curiosity opens the door to the best stories.

Our mission is to bring readers closer to a world that is changing faster than ever before, with the conviction that quality journalism can be a bridge between experts, innovators, and all those who want to understand what happens behind the headlines. In this we see our true task: to transform the complex into the understandable, the distant into the familiar, and the unknown into the inspiring.
