Obalni ophodni brod OImiš iz Hrvatske sudjelovao je u vojnoj vježbi Adrion 24, provedenoj u jonskom moru i na otoku Krfu. Uz Hrvatske snage, sudjelovale su mornarice Albanije, Crne Gore, Italije i Slovenije.

Obalni ophodni brod OOB-31 "Omiš" Obalne straže Republike Hrvatske sudjelovao je u međunarodnoj vojnoj vježbi "ADRION 24", koja se tijekom lipnja 2024. provodila u akvatoriju Jonskog mora i na otoku Krfu, u organizaciji Ratne mornarice Helenske Republike.

Uz mornaričko osoblje i sredstva zemlje domaćina, u vježbi su sudjelovale snage ratnih mornarica Albanije, Crne Gore, Hrvatske, Italije i Slovenije.

Aktivnostima na moru prethodila je računalno potpomognuta vježba "ADRION 24 CAX". Osim OOB-31 "Omiš", u aktivnostima na moru sudjelovali su talijanski ophodni brod P-493 "Comandante Foscari", albanski ophodni brod P-134 "Butrint" te brodovi zemlje domaćina: raketna topovnjača P-69 "Lieutenant Krystallidis" i logistički brod A-374 "Prometheus", u svojstvu zapovjednog broda.

Svrha vježbe "ADRION" je unaprjeđivanje razine interoperabilnosti i suradnje među sudionicima kroz zajedničku obuku u tehnikama i taktikama pomorskih operacija s naglaskom na rješavanje sigurnosnih izazova u široj regiji Jadranskog i Jonskog mora.

Riječ je o glavnoj aktivnosti Jadransko-jonske inicijative (ADRION) koja se provodi jednom godišnje. U ulozi domaćina vježbe Hrvatska je bila 2008., 2014. te 2022. godine.

Dan uvaženih gostiju
U sklopu vježbe upriličen je i Dan uvaženih gostiju kojemu je nazočio zamjenik zapovjednika Obalne straže RH kapetan bojnog broda Zoran Medvidović.

Obalni ophodni brod OOB-31 "Omiš" u sastavu je Obalne straže RH. Dužine je 43,25 metara, opremljen automatskim topom od 30 mm i s dvije ručno upravljive strojnice od 12,7 mm.

Zapovjednik broda je poručnik bojnog broda Dario Javorčić.
