Passing through the bustling streets of Varaždin during Špancirfest, an essential stop for art and design lovers is Uska ulica. This street, known as Kreativnica, has become the heart of the festival's creative energy, a place where innovative minds and their unique products meet. Every year, this space attracts designers from various parts of the country, from established artists to new talents just beginning to capture the audience. This year's Kreativnica brings around thirty exhibitors who will present their creative works.

Diversity of design approaches
Uska ulica will once again become the center of various design expressions this year. Fashion, product, and graphic design will be represented through diverse exhibitions, and visitors will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of styles and approaches. Some of the exhibitors are already regular participants in the festival, while others will be presenting their works for the first time this year. This is an opportunity for all those who appreciate originality and creativity to explore the latest trends and support local designers.

Unique wooden bags
Among the exhibitors, the brand treWolo stands out, known for its unique bags made from different types of wood. These bags, made from walnut, maple, plum, and Sava oak, are not just functional items but true works of art. Each piece is unique, with different textures and colors that reflect the natural beauty of the material and the craftsmanship. TreWolo bags are perfect for those who want to carry a piece of nature with them and are made with special attention to detail.

Graphic design inspired by pop culture
Boris Pleša, a graphic designer with many years of experience, will also be exhibiting his works at this year's Špancirfest. His posters, inspired by elements of pop culture, music, film, and literature, bring freshness and vivid displays that stand out in the graphic design scene. His work is recognizable by its specific style and use of colors that evoke strong emotions and nostalgic memories.

Vintage images on glass and porcelain
Among the creatives exhibiting in Uska ulica are also the spouses Lotte and Rudi, who have created the brand WallWare. Their works combine vintage aesthetics with contemporary techniques, with digitally processed images mounted on hand-blown glass and porcelain. Each of their pieces is unique, and the blend of old motifs and modern techniques brings a special charm that captivates at first glance.

Ethnologically inspired fashion accessories
The brand Ethnotina specializes in making fashion accessories inspired by rich ethnological heritage and folklore. Their products include details and motifs from the past but are designed to suit contemporary tastes. These accessories bring a touch of history into everyday fashion and represent an ideal blend of tradition and modernity.

Floral chandeliers and relaxing music
In the evening, Uska ulica becomes even more special thanks to the floral chandeliers from the brand Inivalu dreams, placed along the entire street. These chandeliers, made with great attention and creativity, are particularly prominent when night falls, adding magic to the entire space. In a relaxed atmosphere, visitors can enjoy music selected by DJs, daily from 6 PM to 10 PM. In addition, the On Wheels bar will be available for refreshments, offering a variety of drinks and cocktails.

Tourism desk

Our Travel Desk was born out of a long-standing passion for travel, discovering new places, and serious journalism. Behind every article stand people who have been living tourism for decades – as travelers, tourism workers, guides, hosts, editors, and reporters. For more than thirty years, destinations, seasonal trends, infrastructure development, changes in travelers’ habits, and everything that turns a trip into an experience – and not just a ticket and an accommodation reservation – have been closely followed. These experiences are transformed into articles conceived as a companion to the reader: honest, informed, and always on the traveler’s side.

At the Travel Desk, we write from the perspective of someone who has truly walked the cobblestones of old towns, taken local buses, waited for the ferry in peak season, and searched for a hidden café in a small alley far from the postcards. Every destination is observed from multiple angles – how travelers experience it, what the locals say about it, what stories are hidden in museums and monuments, but also what the real quality of accommodation, beaches, transport links, and amenities is. Instead of generic descriptions, the focus is on concrete advice, real impressions, and details that are hard to find in official brochures.

Special attention is given to conversations with restaurateurs, private accommodation hosts, local guides, tourism workers, and people who make a living from travelers, as well as those who are only just trying to develop lesser-known destinations. Through such conversations, stories arise that do not show only the most famous attractions but also the rhythm of everyday life, habits, local cuisine, customs, and small rituals that make every place unique. The Travel Desk strives to record this layer of reality and convey it in articles that connect facts with emotion.

The content does not stop at classic travelogues. It also covers topics such as sustainable tourism, off-season travel, safety on the road, responsible behavior towards the local community and nature, as well as practical aspects like public transport, prices, recommended neighborhoods to stay in, and getting your bearings on the ground. Every article goes through a phase of research, fact-checking, and editing to ensure that the information is accurate, clear, and applicable in real situations – from a short weekend trip to a longer stay in a country or city.

The goal of the Travel Desk is that, after reading an article, the reader feels as if they have spoken to someone who has already been there, tried everything, and is now honestly sharing what is worth seeing, what to skip, and where those moments are hidden that turn a trip into a memory. That is why every new story is built slowly and carefully, with respect for the place it is about and for the people who will choose their next destination based on these words.
