Premijer Plenković posjetio novo sjedište HOO-a u Zagrebu i najavio podršku sportašima za Olimpijske igre u Parizu

Premijer Andrej Plenković posjetio je novo sjedište Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora u Zagrebu, razgovarajući s čelnicima HOO-a o pripremama za Olimpijske igre u Parizu i najavljujući povećanje nagrada za sportaše.

Predsjednik Vlade Andrej Plenković posjetio je danas novo sjedište Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora u Zagrebu, gdje je s domaćinima, predsjednikom HOO-a Zlatkom Matešom i glavnim tajnikom Sinišom Krajačem, razgovarao o tijeku priprema hrvatskih sportaša i sportašica za skorašnje Olimpijske igre u Parizu.

U pratnji premijera bili su potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar prostornoga uređenja, graditeljstva i državne imovine Branko Bačić, ministar turizma i sporta Tonči Glavina, ministar zdravstva Vili Beroš te ministar znanosti, obrazovanja i mladih Radovan Fuchs.

Zlatko Mateša zahvalio na podršci
Predsjednik HOO-a Zlatko Mateša naglasio je važnu ulogu resornog ministarstva i Vlade u pripremama za Olimpijske igre u Parizu, kao i pri nabavi novog sjedišta HOO-a. Nakon najave renoviranja Doma sportova, HOO je bio prisiljen potražiti novi prostor.

Direktori HOO-a, Damir Šegota i Ranko Ćetković, obavijestili su premijera Plenkovića o stanju hrvatskog izaslanstva na Olimpijskim igrama u Parizu. Hrvatsko izaslanstvo broji 73 sportaša i sportašice iz 16 sportova, a ukupno ima 157 članova. Predstavili su i projekt Hrvatske kuće u Parizu koja će služiti kao poveznica između hrvatskog i francuskog gospodarstva te kao mjesto okupljanja Hrvata koji će tih dana biti u Parizu.

Premijer Plenković podržao sportaše
Premijer Plenković zaželio je hrvatskim sportašima uspješne nastupe na olimpijskim natjecanjima i najavio svoj dolazak na svečanost otvaranja Olimpijskih igara u Parizu. Također je prihvatio poziv za posjet Hrvatskoj kući.

Ministar turizma i sporta Tonči Glavina izjavio je danas za medije da je podrška Vlade sportašima vidljiva u nedavnoj odluci o povećanju nagrada za vrhunska sportska postignuća. Hrvatski osvajači zlatnih medalja u Parizu će dobiti po 41.000 eura, što je povećanje od 50% u odnosu na prethodne nagrade.
