Rückkehr der regulären Strecke Seoul - Zagreb: t'way air verbindet Kroatien und Südkorea nach fünf Jahren wieder

Die Ankunft des ersten T'way Air-Flugs mit 337 Passagieren auf der regulären Strecke Seoul - Zagreb wurde mit einem traditionellen Wassergruß gefeiert. Diese Landung markierte die Wiederverbindung der Hauptstädte Südkoreas und Kroatiens nach fünf Jahren. Der letzte Flug auf dieser Route war im November 2019, daher ist die Wiederaufnahme dieser Verbindung ein wichtiges Ereignis für den Flughafen Zagreb.

T'way Air wird diese Strecke dreimal wöchentlich, vom 16. Mai bis zum 26. Oktober 2024, bedienen. Die Flüge sind dienstags, donnerstags und samstags verfügbar und werden mit einem A330-300 Flugzeug mit einer Kapazität von 347 Sitzplätzen durchgeführt. Die voraussichtliche Ankunftszeit in Zagreb ist um 19:55 Uhr, und der Abflug ist für 21:25 Uhr geplant. Der CEO von T'way Air, Hong-Geun Jeong, betonte beim Eröffnungsflug das Engagement des Unternehmens für die Entwicklung der Tourismusbranche in Kroatien und die Förderung guter Beziehungen zwischen den beiden Ländern durch einen verstärkten Austausch von Menschen und Waren.

Nicolas Duthilleul, Chief Operating Officer des Zagreber Internationalen Flughafens, äußerte seine Zufriedenheit darüber, dass Seoul und Zagreb nach fünf Jahren wieder mit regelmäßigen Flügen verbunden sind. Er kündigte auch weitere Bemühungen an, eine ganzjährige Verbindung mit mehr Frequenzen zu etablieren, was die Anbindung Zagrebs an Südkorea weiter verbessern würde.
