Croatian tourism is increasingly recognizing the importance of quality and motivated staff, and one of the most prominent examples in this segment is certainly the company Aminess Hotels & Resorts. This renowned tourism company, which manages numerous hotels and campsites on the Adriatic coast, is significantly raising the bar this year when it comes to working conditions and rewarding its employees. Thanks to generous investments in human resources, Aminess not only confirms its position among the leading employers in tourism but also sets new standards in its relationship with workers.
A New Level of Employee Care
In 2025, Aminess is implementing a series of benefits designed to further motivate workers and retain quality staff. The basic salary of employees has been increased by 10%, which is the result of successful cooperation with union representatives. The seasonal bonus has increased by an additional 100 euros, now amounting to 1,220 euros, which represents a significant incentive during the most intensive months of the tourist season.
In addition, the company pays a Christmas bonus of up to 600 euros, an Easter bonus of 100 euros, and employees receive a gift in kind worth 133 euros. Special attention is paid to family values, so parents receive a monetary gift of 140 euros per child, while the allowance for the birth of a child has been increased to as much as 800 euros. These are all indicators that Aminess not only respects but also actively promotes the work-life balance of its employees.
Expansion of Accommodation and Transport Benefits
Employees who do not use accommodation in the company's facilities are provided with an annual allowance of 200 euros, while the cost of transport is now covered up to a distance of 70 kilometers, which is significantly more than the previous 40 kilometers. Also, all workers are provided with hot meals, which further contributes to their satisfaction and sense of care from the employer.
It is also important to emphasize the fact that as many as 75% of employees at Aminess are Croatian citizens, which indicates the stability and attractiveness of the employer in the domestic labor market. In the context of current challenges in finding labor in tourism, this percentage is extremely significant.
Investments in Education and Personal Development
In addition to material benefits, Aminess also allocates significant funds for the education and development of its employees. In 2025, as much as 250,000 euros is reserved for this purpose. These funds finance various professional development programs, including access to globally relevant education. A new internal Learning Management System has also been introduced, enabling additional training for all interested employees regardless of their location or job position.
Union Support and Social Responsibility
Representatives of the tourism union welcomed this news with enthusiasm. They particularly highlighted the importance of continuous improvement of working conditions and expressed confidence that the agreed material rights will further motivate employees. The unions praised the long-term cooperation with the management of Aminess and pointed out that such moves have a positive impact on the entire tourism sector in Croatia.
Return of Seasonal Workers and Workforce Stability
One of the indicators of Aminess's successful personnel policy is the fact that a large number of seasonal workers return year after year. Such practice testifies to employee satisfaction, but also to the security and stability provided by the working environment in this company. The company currently employs about 2,500 workers, and their accommodation capacities extend over ten locations along the Adriatic coast.
Accommodation Near Tourist Facilities
Aminess provides its employees coming from more distant regions with adequate accommodation conditions near their place of work. Accommodation facilities intended for employees are modernly equipped and offer everything necessary for a pleasant stay during the season. Such practice not only reduces the daily stress associated with commuting but also further strengthens the sense of belonging and team spirit among employees.
The combination of competitive salaries, rich benefits, investments in education, and stable working conditions positions Aminess as one of the most desirable employers in domestic tourism. Their strategy is based on long-term development, and the focus on employees is a key element that guarantees the success and sustainability of the business.
