Croatia's tourism offer was presented at the USTOA Annual Conference & Marketplace in National Harbor near Washington, from December 1 to 5, 2025. In four days, they hold targeted matched B2B meetings, strengthen presence in key markets, and present sustainable, authentic itineraries that encourage year-round travel and higher added value.
In 2025, Croatian tourism stabilizes volume but suffers a drop in profitability as labor and food costs grow faster than revenues. The solution is to accelerate hotel investments: energy and functional renovation, selective greenfield, digitalization, and the development of MICE and wellness offers to raise value per guest and reduce seasonality.
In the Nautičko jedro 2025 selection, in which more than 24,000 readers and 4,499 boaters voted, D-Marin Borik from Zadar won first place. The marina was highlighted for service quality, digital solutions, and sustainability, whereby Zadar was further confirmed as the peak of Adriatic nautical tourism.
Quality labels True Zagorje Home were awarded on November 28 at the Business and Technology Incubator of Krapina-Zagorje County. The project raises standards of private accommodation and has so far certified 41 houses, and in 2025 gets another 10. Prefect Željko Kolar points out a record 197,487 arrivals and 430,466 overnight stays and further tourism growth.
