The Vodnjan Tourist Board has launched a project to preserve Torte de Mandole, a traditional bumblebee almond dessert. The goal, in cooperation with local caterers, is to preserve the indigenous recipe, promote this unique flour-free delicacy and protect it as part of the intangible cultural heritage of Vodnjan, thus strengthening the gastronomic offer of the region.
